We have arranged Comprehensive Travel Insurance that is suitable for the holidays on this website. Details of the cover and premiums are given below.

Under the Association of British Insurers General Code of Practice, listed below is a summary of the cover provided by the insurance. A copy of the full terms and conditions is available upon request. Please note that it is the responsibility of each client to ensure that they receive a policy document from us, and familiarise themselves with the terms and conditions. Particular attention should be paid to the warranty below. In the case of any dispute the wording of the policy shall prevail.

HOLIDAY TRAVEL INSURANCE
A Special Holiday Travel Insurance Scheme is available for all passengers travelling on our holidays from AXA Insurance (UK) plc who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority .

DEMANDS AND NEEDS
This insurance policy will suit the Demands and Needs of an individual ,or group(where applicable) who have no excluded pre-existing medical conditions, are travelling in countries included within the policy terms and who wish to insure themselves against unforeseen events detailed in the cover section below. Subject to the terms, conditions and maximum specified claim limits.

We summarise below the details of the insurance cover provided which also includes SPECIALTY ASSISTANCE LTD - 24-hour emergency service. The following is a brief summary of the cover available. Full details of Cover, Policy Warranties and Exclusions will be forwarded with your confirmation of booking. In any event you may ask for a specimen copy of the Policy Wording before booking should you wish to examine this in advance.

POLICY EXCESS
£75.00 excess for Loss of Deposit, Cancellation, Curtailment, Hospital Benefit, Luggage, Personal Money and Legal Expenses increased to £100.00 for Medical Expenses.

IMPORTANT – HEALTH CONDITIONS
This insurance contains Health Conditions. If anyone to be covered by this policy or any person upon whose health the trip depends:

  • (a) Has an existing or ongoing medical condition
  • (b) is taking any prescribed medication
  • (c) has or has had any condition still requiring periodic review
  • (d) is awaiting any tests, treatment, investigation, referral or the results of these
you should contact your holiday company who will supply you with a Self Declaring Medical Form that should be completed and returned to the address stated on the form. Failure to obtain ,complete and return this form may cause this form may cause your circumstances to fall within a policy exclusion

COOLING OFF PERIOD
You should read your policy immediately to ensure it meets with your requirements. If for any reason it does not it must be returned to the issuer of the policy within 14 days of the date of issue or prior to travel which ever is the sooner.. Your money will be refunded in full , provided no claims have been made or incident likely to give rise to a claim has arisen. If you cancel your policy after 14 days no refund will be given.

Geographical Limits:
 
Area 1 - United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands
 
Area 2 - Europe including countries west of the Ural Mountains; the Azores; Canary Islands; Iceland; Madeira; Jordan and countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea (excluding Algeria, Lebanon, Israel and Algeria).

Cover under the loss of deposit/cancellation section commences on payment of your insurance premium. All other cover becomes effective on the outward date of travel.

IMPORTANT. This insurance cover is subject to the normal conditions and exclusions of this type of policy. Full policy details will be sent when your premium is paid and you are strongly advised to read this carefully. NB: Taxi fares will not be refunded when visiting hospitals or medical centres. If clients lose credit/debit cards it is their responsibility to notify immediately their bank or card provider.
