Ireland, Waterford
Waterford is the capital of the sunny south east of Ireland. A natural playground for golf, equestrian, walking, angling, watersports and cycling enthusiasts. Waterford offers the complete holiday experience. The county offers a dazzling coastline, beautiful river valleys and two dramatic ranges of very accessible mountains. Waterford was established in Viking times and it has an exciting medieval flavour and riverside bustle. The citys also the home of Waterford Crystal, a lifestyle product of exquisite craftsmanship. Dungarvan is the administrative capital of the county and is set in a broad, magnificent bay. In between are lively, and quiet, seaside resorts like Tramore, the spectacular Geopark on the Copper Coast, and lovely mountain and river valley towns and villages.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: Travel to Fishguad for the afternoon sailing to Rosslare, continue to Wexford and check into Quality Hotel for dinner and your 3 night’s stay.
DAY 2: Travel to Lismore Heritage Centre for a short stop and then on to Cashel, returning for your evening meal.
DAY 3: Visit to Middleton and the Jameson’s Whiskey Distillery. Then on to Blarney Castle and the Woollen Mills. We then visit Cobh and hear the story of emigration from Cobh which was also the last port of call for the Titanic.
DAY 4: Depart after breakfast, travelling to Fishguard for the ferry, docking in Pembroke, arriving home mid afternoon.
