Tossa de Mar
Sheltered by pine-covered hills, Tossa de Mar is one of the Costa Brava's most attractive resorts. Overlooked by the distinctive tower of the medieval castle, this old town still maintains the character of a typical fishing village. Wander through the quaint cobbled streets of the old town and discover a vast selection of shops selling all kinds of local craft, plus lots of open air cafes and bars.
The sun blessed beach is split in half by large rocks that jut into the sea. The larger beach is called Platja Gran and the smaller beach Mar Menuda, which includes a small island and features tall rocks.
A very attractive resort popular with the many holiday makers who visit here each year.
For 2012 passengers who wish to book for Tossa de Mar by coach will need to book accommodation only in Tossa de Mar and then travel only to Lloret de Mar (Hotel Royal Beach). You will need to book your own transfers to and from Tossa de Mar.
