Salou
With its two miles stretch of soft white sand Salou is at the southern-most tip of the Cost Dorada.

It is the largest and one of the most attractive resorts along this coastline with a wide palm lined promenade and the picturesque older quarter. Salou has many shops, discos, restaurants and bars to relax in. Water sports are plentiful with water skiing, sailing, pedalos for hire and excellent snorkelling.

Browse around the market, stroll along the promenade or take the kids to the fun-fare. Local buses run to the pretty fishing harbour of Cambrils where you can try the fresh seafood in one of the local restaurants or visit the Roman remains in the historic town of Tarragona. There's also Aqualand Water Park or the fabulous Port Aventura theme park to make a day out with a difference.

Salou is vibrant and busy with plenty to see and do, a great holiday resort for all ages.
