Calella
One of the liveliest and larger resorts on the Costa Brava, calella is a very popular holiday destination. The large open beach of coarse golden sand shelves into the sea with a boat service to take you along the coast. Alongside the beach is a tree lined promenade where you can enjoy a drink at a beach bar. The railway runs the length of Calella and seperates the town from the beach.

There's plenty to do including pedalos, windsurfing, skating and horse riding. Or shop in the maze of narrow streets in the centre of Calella with bargains at the weekly market. Nightlife is plentiful and varied in Calella with many discos, bars, restaurants and clubs.
