Benidorm is one of the greatest symbols of Spain's growing tourist industry. In the last century it has transformed from a fishing village of 2,000 people to a resort of towering skyscrapers that cater to over 5,000,000 visitors a year.

There is plenty for any holiday maker to do in and around Benidorm. The 5km of golden sand that make up the resorts beaches are great for relaxing, while watersports are popular in the area and available for more adventurous visitors to try.
